The Hatchet

This past weekend I attending the wedding of a good friend from college. He is the first of my close friends to get married, and I was honored when asked to be a groomsman.

The wedding took place in the bride and groom’s hometown of Fort Collins, Colorado. Horse ranches, whiskey, and guns were stables of the weekend; celebrating all that is glorious about Colorado. The wedding ceremony was beautiful, and everyone in attendance had a great time.

As a special gift, all groomsmen were given custom-engraved Estwing hatchets. Founded in Rockford, Illinois in 1923 by Ernest O. Estwing, Estwing Manufacturing Company produces high-quality striking and struck tools. Made in the USA, all Estwing products are constructed out of one solid piece of hardened steel for ultimate strength.

Not too many people can say they have a badass hatchet with their initials engraved on the head. Thank you Gideon and Ashley!
